What happened
The employee was cleaning a drill equipped with a 22.5-inch concrete mixer bit using a bucket of water. While performing this task a rag that had been resting on the employee shoulder fell onto the drill bit after a gust came in. The rag became entangled in the rotating bit causing the drill to spin unexpectedly. As a result the rag pulled the employees left hand toward the drill resulting in injury to left hand pinky finger.
