What happened

Writer was accessing the AV booth around [REDACTED] the door stuck slightly as related to the pressure of the HVAC system pulling against the door. When writer tugged on door to release the pressure the door flew open rapidly crushing the R middle finger between the handle and the wall. Writer began to sweat and felt as though she would faint so sat down then laid on the ground to prevent injury in the event of a syncope episode. Writer indicated to their trainee that they would like them to get a nurse from the commons health station. Moments later a nurse showed up and escorted this writer to MSU in a wheelchair. Writer was briefly evaluated on MSU finger had swelled immensely and was iced for approx. 15 mins while lead tech contacted PCT leader for advice. Writer was transported via tech van to Osceola Medical Center.
