The injured employee and two other snowmakers were on a snowmaking run on [REDACTED] when they encountered a snow gun they needed to shut down Using his adjustable wrench the affected EE started closing the water hydrant using quarter turns One of the other EEs was dissatisfied with the affected EEs pace and stepped in to more rapidly close the water hydrant When the other EE stepped in to close water hydrant the affected EE stepped back but remained just behind the other EEs right shoulder As the other EE was closing the water hydrant his wrench slipped off the hydrant stem causing his arm to swing behind him and to his side The affected EE was close enough to be struck by the bottom of the wrench and suffered a laceration on his right eyebrow One of the snowmakers was a Ski Patroller with a first aid kit and she tended to the injured EEs wound while notifying a snowcat to come pick them up The injured EE was able to walk to the snowcat and he was brought to the base where on the advi
