EE was working the bottom lift station at the sugarbush lift A snowboard had fallen into the [REDACTED] The other operator put the lift on slow while he went to retrieve the board The lift was put back to fast while he started to cross the downhill lift line He said he took a path he did not need to The board was on the up hillside of the lift but he decided to walk around to the back side The second operator thought he already cleared the [REDACTED] and is why he turned the lift to fast EE slipped on a ice chunk and regained his footing When he looked up he was hit in the head with the chair He was wearing a helmet that took the blunt of the force He went down to the ground When he got up his glasses had cut a slit in his nose He was taken to ski patrol he was given ice and a band aid for the cut
