The employee was performing a mold change when then incident happened.

The employee was performing a mold change when then incident happened. The employee experienced a discomfort in his left shoulder while performing a mold change. He reported feeling a pop in his shoulder but initially believed the issue was minor and did not notify the shift supervisor at the time. The individual manged the discomfort with self-carethe evening of the incident including over-the-counter medication.The employee experienced difficulty in raising his left arm the next day and went to the ER for medical evaluation. An X-ray was performed but no fracture or significant injury was identified. The employee was provided with a sling for comfort and given restriction to avoid strenous activity involving the left upper extremity.

Axillary Nerve stretch injury.

The employee was tightening down bolts to align the injection core in a restricted work area.
