What happened

Employee stated both prior to and during the incident investigation that he and his partner were welding [REDACTED] uprights at welding station #5 on [REDACTED]. No timeframe was provided as to when the employee initially felt pain in his lower back only that he began to feel dull pain throughout the day. The employee made the decision to go home early on [REDACTED]. When he returned on [REDACTED] he reported the situation to his supervisor who then started the workers compensation process.
