What happened
On [REDACTED] I and my other coworkers went to Employee Health to receive our flu vaccination. It was busy at the time so we waited and completed the required paperwork. I was the first to receive my vaccination and went into the first room on the left with nurse who administered the shot. The nurse is someone I know professionally and she has always been kind and professional. At the time she was preparing additional supplies due to a rush of employees. After I sat down and removed my arm from my sweatshirt she made a light comment about me being skin and bones as she gave the injection. Immediately upon receiving the shot I felt a sharp pain radiate down my arm into my middle finger. I did not mention this at the time assuming it was normal post-shot soreness. She noted that the injection site was bleeding apologized cleaned the area and provided me with Tylenol before I left.
