What happened
The associate was cutting stair landing FST33 to be moved to the correct location. He had his fall protection anchored to the stair landing. He cut one to many of the weld connections on the landing which caused the weight of the landing and stairs to shift. This caused them to both to collapse and flip the stair landing bringing him down with it. The associate 6-10 inches away from the stairs and landing. He fell on his back causing multiple injuries.
