A temporary operator on Line 10 filling area went under a conveyor to place themselves in between the 2 conveyors leading product out of the filler and into the checkweighers and metal detectors. although this is not an assigned workstation.

A temporary operator on Line 10 filling area went under a conveyor to place themselves in between the 2 conveyors leading product out of the filler and into the checkweighers and metal detectors. although this is not an assigned workstation. While managing kicked off products for both conveyors on the incorrect side of the conveyors they bent over to pick rubbish up from the floor and while bending down they supported their weight by inadvertently placing their hand into the flat part of a conveyor. Their left index finger got pinched and they had a fingernail pulled up. Temporary worker was given first aid and then sent to clinic for further treatment.
