I went into patient 's room to put her on the fetal monitor.

I went into my patient 's room to put her on the fetal monitor. While going to her nightstand to get the belts I hit the sharp corner of the board that covers the wall computer. I didn 't know the board was down because the curtain was completely covering it. There was only a small space between the bed and the computer in the wall. I felt the pain when it happened but I didn 't notice the bruising and swelling until I took off my scrubs after I got home.
