WHILE PERFORMING HIS FINE SORT DUTIES AT THE SORT BELT THE COURIER ATTEMPTED TO CLOSE THE REAR CARGO DOORS OF A FELLOW COURIERS FEDEX SPRINTER VAN WHICH WAS PARKED ADJACENT TO HIS OWN VEHICLE. UPON CLOSING ONE OF THE REAR DOORS THE INNER DOOR HINGE FAILED TO LATCH PROPERLY. AS A RESULT THE DOOR REBOUNDED AND STRUCK THE COURIERS ARM.
