Before the incident
EE was attempting to press a stuck shaft out of a treater roller using a hydraulic arbor press. EE was holding a piece of stock adapter between the press ' ram and the shaft with their right hand (removed right hand from holding stock after press made contact) and resting their left hand on the press ' frame and operating the press with a foot pedal. As the pressure increased the frame twisted slightly causing the stock adapter to come loose allowing the roller under pressure to kick out.
