What happened
Employee was attempting to cut a plastic step for a van using a utility knife. The employee was cutting away from his body but when he completed his cut the piece of plastic shifted and redirected the blade towards his thigh. This resulted in a laceration on his left thigh. The employee was taken to urgent care to receive medical treatment and was cleared to RTW.
