What happened
Employee was in the process of creating a wooden brace for a long tube using 2 x 4 that the had just cut. After cutting the pieces they tried using the nail gun to connect these pieces; however they would end up shooting the nail gun at an angle with their fingers placed behind the wood in the line-of-fire. This caused the nail to shoot through the wood and into their finger.
