EE was installing corner key screws on direct glaze units.

The associate was working on a DG unit building it on the assembly table putting in the black corner keys onto DG units. While drilling this corner key in the associates drill slipped off the screw and their hand struck the HDF on the 45-degree angle causing a deep cut to the right index finger. Cut was about a half inch across the top of the finger starting about a quarter inch down from the tip on the fingernail. The cut did go to the through the fingernail. The associate experienced a pain level of a 5 at the time that continued throughout at this level. The associate did get a first responder and the bleeding was under control but the associate did still want to seek out further medical attention to verify everything is alright.
