Before the incident
The associate was demonstrating a safety concern on the aluminum chop saw when they brushed their finger against the metal shavings on the table. One of these aluminum shards cut their nailbed and was embedded in the nail.
What happened
EE was showing mull pins to a tour when they felt a shard of metal enter their right index finger. Pain is 6 10 and finger is throbbing. It is unclear if the metal is gone from the nailbed. EE was brought to the [REDACTED] and it was determined that they should be seen by Essentia to make sure the sliver is gone from the nailbed.
