Before the incident
EE attempted to grab a falling mixing paddle while working in the glue room.
What happened
EE was helping another Operator change the glue barrel out on the Edge Glue side of the Glue Room. As the EE 's were waiting for the propeller rig to go back down into the barrel the propeller slipped out of the motor. When the injured EE noticed that it was slipping they tried to catch it with their left arm. Catching the propeller caused the EE 's left arm to be jerked down into the glue barrel and they felt pain in their left shoulder.
