He was working in booth 13 on a Komatsu Logistics frame (drawing number 327757). His body was positioned in the northwest corner of the booth. He used a 1 4 inch to cut as much as he could safely reach without having to alter anything else on the frame. He was wearing his general use gloves under his welding gloves at the time. A rubber hammer is the tool that he was using at the time to shift the block; both of his hands were on the hammer as he swung it. His left hand was on top of his right hand on the hammer. He accidentally struck the pinky on his right hand causing a laceration in between the two knuckles closest to the nail on the finger. He experienced lightheadedness and blurry vision shortly after the injury while cleaning the wound.
