Assigned as one-on-one supervision with acute resident. Attempting to assist resident to wheelchair after becoming unsteady on feet.

What happened

Resident threw beverage at employee then grabbed left arm of employee and pushed employee across the hall into the wall. Employee fell to the floor while resident continued to push against left arm. Left arm was up to protect self resident grabbed arm and help employee down while employee was attempting to crawl from under the resident 's hold. RN on duty maneuvered between resident and employee to aide in escape from resident.
