Before the incident
Employee state in part I was walking down the hallway in front of the HR offices when I tripped and fell. My face impacted the floor on the right side cuasing my nose to bleed and my eye and lip to swell immediately. I fell on my right hand which was also immediately painful. Employee heard me fall and came out of the HR offices to investigate. When they saw that my nose was bleeding employee brought me tissues and a wet paper towel to wipe my face and deal with the blood. Supervior and coworker arrived and the decision was made to call an ambulance. By this time my. hand and left knee were very painful and my face was very swollen. Supervisor followed the ambulance to the hospital. When I arrived in the ER they took xrays of my right hand and left knee and a CT of my head and neck. I had a broken bone in my right hand but nothing broken in my face or knee but my right eye did swell shut and both eyes were black and swollen [REDACTED].
