Employee was spotting for a telehandler operator.

What happened

The team was OPIing in the [REDACTED] lot area. TM [REDACTED] was operating the skytrack with [REDACTED] and TM[REDACTED] as spotters. They were uncrating a box that had one wall left to dismantle. The team decided to stop and move the mylar wrapped pallet to avoid the wall falling on the equipment. At that time the team believed the pallet was a valve stand which is much lighter and less durable than a heat exchanger. TM [REDACTED] engaged the pallet with the [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] was spotting by standing near another unwrapped valve stand. When TM [REDACTED] lifted on the pallet the load became unsteady and broke the hold-down bracing before TM [REDACTED] could completely lower. The load fell in [REDACTED] 's direction pressed [REDACTED] against the valve stand and subsequently rolled off of him.
