What happened
I was on pts right side of bed using the buttons on the handrail to lower the bed with my left hand. I had my index finger on the down button and apparently had my thumb in the slot on the bed like I was holding on to it. When I pulled away my thumb was still in the slot and bent backwards. I think I just broke a blood vessel and is bruised and tender.
