What happened
During bed change this nurse along with Charge nurse [REDACTED] RN provided peri care for patient. Charge nurse explained each step prior to proceeding. Charge nurse asked patient to turn toward this nurse. This nurse attempted to removed soiled brief and pad from underneath patient the patient began to hit this nurse closed fist repeatedly on the bone of my left forearm causing pain. Caregiver present asleep on chair.
