Agressive patient that was brought in by Rogers PD. Patient has a history of dementia. Patient was trying to leave the leave the facility.

What happened

Attempt to deescalate situation with wife ER staff security and House Supervisor. [REDACTED] became increasingly agitated and then placed on hands wife in aggressive manner. At this time team intervinded to secure pt on the stretcher behind pt. Dr order medication and it was given by medical staff. pt repositioned and allowed to set up. pt then reported feeling dizzy. pt assisted onto stretcher and taken to trauma adult and placed on monitor. while placing monitor on pt attempted to hit and kick staff. 4 point restraints placed by nursing staff. after pt was secured. felt throbbing and sharp pain to left knee. stiff to walk on. placed in chair. ice pack provided by house. notified PSS.
