What happened
During this process the Maintenance Technician used a 12 lb. sledgehammer. Unfortunately while striking the pin he misaligned his swing which resulted in a loss of control. Consequently his right little finger became pinched between a steel square tubing beam of the threading table and the handle of the sledgehammer.
