Before the incident
[REDACTED] day shift 11025- I worked with [REDACTED] husbands help at times with a non weight bearing 295 lbs patient. We used a pink slip transfer system every time we moved the patient in bed. After shift on [REDACTED] I had noticed some pain in my right shoulder throughout the weekend. The pain would come and go. [REDACTED] NOC shift 11225- I worked with the same patient however patient was weight bearing [REDACTED]. I helped 2 EMTs co-worker transfer a patient 140 lbs from EMT gurney to ED bed. I helped the UC Tanna Gliddon imaging tech transfer same patient from ED bed to imaging scan table and back from imaging table to ED bed with a transfer board. I noticed throughout the shift that my right shoulder started knotting up and increased pain. At [REDACTED] I sat down to chart and felt a sharp pain running down from my right shoulder down my arm. I reported the issue to the charge nurse [REDACTED] [REDACTED].
