Before the incident
The employee was trying to stand up a 700lb treadmill by himself. The GWW 's within our building have been trained that ANY workout equipment must have a team lift called for. No employee is allowed to try and move any workout equipment by themselves. The employee did not call for a team lift and tried to lift the treadmill by himself twice before the Area Manager saw him and assisted in a team lift. The Manager asked the employee if he was okay and he indicated that he was fine. It wasn 't until the [REDACTED] at the start of the shift that he indicated he was hurt.
What happened
[REDACTED] went to pick up a treadmill to stand it up to put in the trailer. The first time he picked it up he dropped the second time he was unable to picked it up. His manager assisted him. Later in the day he was unable to walk.
