Needlestick Pt had lovenox due pt had barely any subcutaneous tissue but i squeezed what i could i gave the lovenox and it poked me while the needle was in him the needle was then taken out and put in the sharps and i immediately washed my hands and notified my charge i talked with employee health and they said because this was a bi directional needle stick injury that there needed to be an RL for both myself and the patient the other RL was done reported injury to provider employee health appointment made to get my blood drawn at [REDACTED]
