Before the incident
I was detaching syringe after fkushing patient central line.
What happened
I received order to draw blood from pt central line for aPTT. Blood was drawn and line was flushed with 20 ml saline flush. However while detaching the second syringe post flush I had a splash unto my left eye. Patient also c o splash to his face.
