What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] EE was at [REDACTED] putting a roll on the unwind closing the chuck. EE closed the cover with their right hand and inadvertently slammed it onto their left thumb. EE stated a pain level of 6. EE 's left thumb was swollen and the fingernail appeared ready to fall off. Aspirus evaluated EE 's left thumb and recommended further evaluation at a medical facility. EE was transported to the emergency room for further evaluation. There is a photo of the injury attached to this report.
