Before the incident
transferring used bead blast media into a waste drum
What happened
While transferring used bead blast media into a waste drum employee inadvertently inhaled some of the bead blast media particles. Employee was properly equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the time of the incident. As a precautionary measure we immediately summoned medical assistance to assess his condition. Following the initial assessment Employee sought further evaluation at an urgent care facility due to ongoing discomfort and concerns following the departure of the medics.
