Before the incident
Assisting with transfer vehicle to Emergency Department.
What happened
Employee was asked to help transfer a patient near ER entrance. When pushing the patient in the wheelchair his feet began to drag on the ground. When employee lifted the patients feet onto the foot pedestals the patient had a gash near the right maleolus which ran onto the employees hand where he had a percutaneous nick on my thumb.
