Employee and three other employees were starting to move three Deltek furnaces from a pallet to their working table.

While attempting to 4-person lift the first furnace a loud pop sound came from employee 's right arm. Employee immediately got a look on his face that indicated pain associated with the popping sound. Supervisor asked employee if he was Ok and employee stated his right arm just popped and hurt very badly. Employee was asked if he needed to stop working; employee stated he could lightly assist and he did. Once the three furnaces were set in place supervisor told employee to go to his office and take it easy by doing computer training and paperwork. Appox [REDACTED] supervisor checked on employee who said his arm hurt worse than before and felt he needed a medical evaluation.

Employee described the pain to be intense from the right middle forearm to the middle of the biceps area. When he had his arm propped on the desk he said it was mild pain; but when he went to move his arm it was very intense pain.
