Before the incident

The employee was attempting to remove the plate dog rigging clamp from the panel once it had been removed from the machine. The edge of the panel had been cut with tin snips so as they placed their hand on the edge for leverage when removing the clamp a small burr punctured their left-hand palm through their glove.
