What happened
The doors close the clamps clamp on the part the doors open and the part is checked by the operator. EE saw the clamp stuck in the upright position. EE decided to hit the clamp with the palm of the hand and while doing so the right index finger got caught in between the clamp and the fixture. The tip of the finger was amputated.
