What happened
[REDACTED] received training first thing in the morning & supervision until comfortable with the task. He then worked well for several hours with occasional supervisor review. At some point [REDACTED] got too comfortable with the process and was not paying full attention to movement of spot welder nor his hand. this caused him to place his finger between spot welder and part he was holding. Was not holding the longer part only as was shown in training.
