moving racks for cleaning
What happened
Employees were working in the prep area to move empty ingredient racks to the wash area for cleaning. During transporting the racks one employee was pushing the rack while another was pulling the rack as a guide. At one point during the move the employee pulling the rack slowed their pace and the employee pushing did not anticipate the slowing and pushed the rack into the left ankle Achilles tendon area. The collision caused a small laceration and tenderness to the tendon area. Employee went home [REDACTED] and rested and iced the area but was concerned about tendon damage [REDACTED] and asked to be seen by a doctor.
