What happened
Worker wanted to face one side of the [REDACTED] pipe and used a plastic flange protector to put between the pipe and facer and attempted to bring the right side of the pipe in closer due to the flange protector being smaller than the pipe. When he moved the hydraulic switch he was under the impression he would be able to move his fingers in time. The right side of the pipe and facer crushed his left middle and index finger.
