Before the incident
EE was operating drop seal bagger.
What happened
TRN Associate was operating bagger at SB001. Product got stuck when released. EE had left hand on safety trip plate deactivating the sealing arm. EE used right hand to clear some bag tails. Left hand accidently released the safety trip plate causing sealing are to close. Left hand was in line of fire striking knuckle thumb area. EE reported incident the following day at start of shift.
