What happened
S Maintenance associate received a deep cut to his right middle finger while removing the back winder cover on [REDACTED] Pos 10 O The investigation found the cover to be slightly bent causing it to stick The associate had to use excessive force to pull the cover and thats when his middle finger rubbed on a sharp place and cut his finger A The supervisor cleaned the cut but could not get the bleeding to stop so he sent him to the local ER for evaluation P The injured associate should have been wearing gloves when performing this task to prevent against injury This incident will be covered with the maintenance team with a reminder to wear gloves when possible to prevent unforeseen injuries
