Before the incident
TM was rolling a drum full of liquids approx. 170-200 lbs. from liftgate into truck to weigh the drum.
What happened
TM stated I think I grabbed the drum wrong. It was too heavy and i didn 't handle it correctly TM was rolling drum when their left thumb got pulled back by the lid of the drum causing a sharp pain.

Thumb on left hand was pulled causing a sharp pain at first in the thumb but after a while there was numbness to the other 4 fingers on the left hand. and a knot at the base of wrist and thumb.
