Loading baskets onto Durr wash machine conveyor.

Operator was stepping up on to the non-slip grate platform for the Durr wash machine but did not realize his foot was under the grate and not above it. His forward moment caused him to lean forward. To keep from falling forward he grabbed a close by basket to catch himself. In the process he twisted his arm and strained his right shoulder.

Strain to right shoulder. The Operator did not experience pain at the point of the incident and continued to work the remainder of the shift. The next day his shoulder felt sore. 6 days later his shoulder felt worse and he requested to go to the PIC clinic to have it looked at. PIC prescribed a pain killer and restricted duty. This issue has extended on to Surgery and has exceeds the 180 day max limit.
