Injured employee was leaving the laundry room when he caught his right index finger with the laundry room door. He had his finger cleaned and wrapped by a nurse that he works with. The shock of this caused him to lose consciousness approximately 10 minutes after injury (while he was sitting down). Denies hitting head. EMS was then called and he was assessed.
