What happened
EE deburring when particulate for into right eye causing irritation and abrasion on [REDACTED] EE was working at 500A cell completing deburring operation. They felt irritation in their right eye but thought it was due to contacts. EE went home and irritation progressed. Injury was reported on [REDACTED] to EHS manager where first aid was provided to remove particulate from eye. Investigation of incident found the lack of ventilation in cell to control flying debris was root cause.
