A glass dropper on the Centerline was performing an everyday task of pulling glass from a loaded glass cart. When doing so they encountered an issue the window sticking to the cart’s rubber strips due to the hot butyl. This required the employee to use more force than usual to pull the window off the glass cart. When doing so their hand slipped down the window. When sliding down the window their thumb was caught by a sharper point and it pierced their left hand leading to a laceration to their thumb.
