Before the incident
Preparing to change a film roll on operator side of the [REDACTED] machine using hoist and slings. This is currently a two person task one on either side of roll.
What happened
Two employees were changing a film roll. Slings are placed on either side of the roll core to raise with boom lift. As second EE was moving sling into place first EE pressed lift button. This resulted in the sling pinning second ee 's thumb tip. EE initially refused medical attention but reconsidered and went to clinic. EE Incident under review.
