Before the incident
Hand trimming material with scissors before running it through the Surging machine.
What happened
While cutting the material with hand scissors she lost control of the scissors causing them to fall out of her hand. Her instinct was to try and grab them before they fell to the floor. When she went to grab the scissors the base of the scissors came in contact with the table top and her hand was on top trying to catch the scissors. The sudden stop of the scissors with her hand in contact caused the scissors to puncture the palm on her Right Hand.
