What happened
I had donned my gloves PPE and was assisting my partner and fire with the patient laying on the roadway. I was assisting log rolling the patient when a piece of glass from the accident pierced my gloves and penetrated my left middle finger. My gloves were already saturated with the patient 's blood from the accident.
