What happened
During the loading process of totes in receiving totes travel on a conveyor before being lifted onto a high-speed lift. Before the high-speed lift a rail is installed to create a narrow opening on the conveyor to alleviate totes from turning. Unfortunately a tote had turned 180 degrees before reaching the narrow area of the conveyor. In order to turn the tote back to its correct position the team members have to lock out before getting onto the conveyor. After pushing the tote back to an wider area of the conveyor 2 team members were able to turn the tote back into the proper position. Two team members were utilized for this task due to the product totes weighing approximately 500 pounds. Once the task was completed one team member felt some discomfort in their left shoulder.
