What happened

On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] the employee was dumping bags on the Air Line when he cut his right ring finger with his utility knife. The utility knife the employee was using had a Woellert (small metal ball) attached to the utility knife which prevents the utility knife from falling through the grate of the dump bin. The employee states he was holding the knife in his right hand and was picking up the next bag from the batch when he cut his right ring finger with his utility knife. The employee states the knife got caught but is somewhat unsure exactly how he ended up cutting his right ring finger as he was moving quickly while dumping bags. The employee immediately reported this injury and was taken to the Supervisors Office for first aid treatment. He was then taken to the hospital for additional care.
